How We Got Here
J&J Media didn't start the way it is today. It has been a long journey that started in 2019 by chance! Jason Chillmaid Photography was born to capture family photos and quickly started to shoot weddings forming Everlasting Photo in 2022. Since then we have further grown and now cover everything from family mini sessions to professional sports photography and corporate photography. With Jo coming on board in 2022 and developing the content creator side we evolved again to form J&J Media.
Meet the Team
Meet Jason, the Lead Photographer at Everlasting Photo
Jason is the talented lead photographer at J&J Media, bringing years of experience and skill to every project he takes on. His love for photography began at a young age, when he first got his hands on his parents' film SLR camera and began experimenting with capturing the world around him.
With a passion for cityscapes and architecture, Jason quickly became skilled in taking stunning photos of cities across the globe. His travels have taken him to a variety of cities, including London, New York, Washington DC, Las Vegas, Sydney, Melbourne and many others.
Over time, Jason's expertise continued to grow and he decided to take his craft to the next level. In 2012, he enrolled in a distance learning course at the prestigious New York Institute of Photography, honing his skills and developing his unique style even further.
As his career progressed and he started a family of his own, Jason turned his lens towards capturing cherished family moments. With a keen eye for detail and an ability to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, he quickly found a passion for wedding photography and ultimately made the decision to pursue photography as a full-time career in 2019.
With Jason's skill, experience, and friendly demeanour, J&J Media clients can rest assured that every project is in the most capable hands.

"We got married in May 2017 and our day was full of emotional moments. I will always remember the first time I saw Jo walking down the aisle. WE had a packed chapel and yet all I saw in that moment was Jo, I couldn't tell you who walked her down the aisle, it was her dad, but in that moment it could have been anyone. It's a moment that I cherish and was indeed captured by our photographer on the day. A priceless moment, that we actually have on our bedroom wall!"

Jo's Story
"I have always had a deep passion for photography, it's a subject close to mine and Jason's hearts; we bonded over our shared love of capturing life's most precious moments. I remember my first experience shooting wedding photos at a family member's ceremony to assist Jason, and I was completely enamored by it. Everything from the excited energy of the bridal party to the emotions conveyed during the ceremony, and even the liveliness of the after-party, it filled me with awe.
As I continued to attend more weddings with Jason, not only did I gain valuable experience, but I also honed my technical skills. I was able to observe and learn from an experienced photographer all while assisting him in any way I could. In the summer of 2021, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph weddings solo, and I've received incredible feedback from the lovely couples I had the pleasure of working with.
I am excited to continue developing my style and techniques, and I'm eager to work with even more wonderful couples to capture the beauty and magic of their special day."
